Andy Kane OBE PhD

Independent Advisory, Trustee & Board Services

FCA(Retired) & CPA(Retired)

Author of “Three Bridges- Adulthood is Easy Until Life Intervenes”

I’m an Alchemist of Clarity.

Whether as a trusted mentor, coach or advisor, or in my capacity as a trustee, board director, or academic advisor, I focus on how to cut through complexity, connect with what matters, and make confident decisions..

Whether it's making sense of your life as it relates to business, family, or personal challenge, how to effectively pursue your doctoral degree, how I can engage with a board so it can effectively govern, or how I fulfill the responsibilities vested in me as a trustee, I bring clear structure and insight.

My focus is to help turn confusion into clarity and momentum.

I combine my experience in finance, business, management, and treasury with my soft-side skills of listening and then communicate with clarity.

Life embraces painful emotions, grief, and many unspoken words, creating confusion when clarity is most needed.

Built upon 50 years of guiding clients, I offer men and women a calm, experienced voice and empathetic heart.

I often delve into introspective questions about poor relationships or internal struggles.

Midlife was the focus of my doctoral dissertation, and subsequently, I wrote my book “Three Bridges” to underline that life is easy until adulthood intervenes!

In 2026, I shall commence my next book on how to handle change, especially focused on men in midlife.

After facing several career challenges in midlife, I wish “Three Bridges” had been written earlier as it would have provided me invaluable guidance and input to meet those challenges with more confidence.
